George G. Fitzgerald, son of the late Floyd Fitzgerald and Roosevelt
Moore was born on November 13, 1938 and Crewe, Virginia. He depart-
ed this life on October 5, 2019 after a lengthy illness.
He received his education at Luther H. Foster High School in Nottoway
County. After some time, George married the love of his life, Jennie
Fitzgerald on March 3, 1961 and later moved his family to Baltimore,
George worked as a truck driver for a Modem Trash, First Transit and
Cocky's Enterprise where he later retired.
He had a heart of gold and helped all whom came across his path. Even
at the age of 80 he didn't hesitate letting you know he was "The Boss".
He enjoyed playing checkers, cooking, spending time with his family and

Fitzgerald; sister, Dorothy Craighead; brothers, Gene and Otha Fitzger-
ald and grandson, Brian Augins Jr.
George leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Jennie Fitzgerald; five
daughters, Jacquie Stokes, Deborah Foster, Mildred Jackson, Frances
Boardley and Gloria Fitzgerald; one son, George Fitzgerald Jr.; seven
granddaughters, Dominique, Jenicia, Shantel, Manah Taylor, Kimberly
and Candace; three grandsons, Borell, Antoine and Anthony; one daugh-
ter-in-law, Tia Trayham Fitzgerald; two sons-in-law, Dwayne Boardley
and Larry Jackson; two sisters-in-law, Shirley and Ernestine Epps; three
brothers-in-law, Paul, Kirky and Harry and a host great grandkids, family
