On Saturday, May 11,2019, Gerald Gray, affectionately
known as G. Dogg, passed away suddenly at the age of
57 years old. Gerald was a native of Baltimore, MD his
entire life and left a lasting impression on those who
Born on December 19; 1961 to the late David Lee Gray, 'Sr. & Girline
Gray, Gerald became the youngest of the family or as he would say,
the "baby boy". Due to the untimely death of his mother, he was
lovingly raised by his aunt and uncle, the late Myrtle & John Smith.
As a young man, he attended and graduated from the Baltimore City
Public Schools System. Throughout his life he enjoyed working with
his hands in the home improvement industry with his cousins Tobby
and Paul, and was no stranger to hard work.
Gerald had an engaging personality and everyone enjoyed his
presence. He affectionately called everyone, Shorty. Some know
him as a quiet man who enjoyed watching sport-s, others know him as
the life of the party, but everyone loved him just the same. He Was
. always open to express his thoughts and feelings to those he loved;
and seldom missed an opportunity to spend time with family and
friends on holidays and summer vacations.
Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers:
Gwendolyn, David (Lil June), Larry, Denise, and Harry; cousins:
Christine, Paul, Wanda, Vanessa, Tobby, Regina, Nadine and a host
