Aaron Melvin McDowell affectionately called "Boy" was born on October 2, 1925 to the late Melvin and Ada Mcdowell in Timmonsville, South Carolina. His four siblings preceded him in death. He graduated from Brockington High school. following his older siblings, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1945. Uncle boy was a bricklayer for over forty years and took great pride in his work. He ofter spoke of his participation in the building of Memorial stadium to his great-nieces and nephews. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with family and speaking to the younger generation about his childhood in south Carolina. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior and jioned Bethlehem baptist church at an early age. because of our family's faith in god, we believe that death is a transition. We rejoice in knowing that our uncle is in a better place, "his eternal home" where there is no pain and suffering. In loving memory, he leaves his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
