Ardella Arbutus Lee, affectionately known as "Della" was born on October 21, 1957 to the late George William Lee, Sr. and the late Mary Marie Lee Brown and her older sister Diane Elizabeth Thomas. Della departed this life on December 8,2014. Della received her education in Anne Arundel County and Baltimore City Public School Systems. She worked in different jobs, including Anne Arun-: del County Public Schools. Della was a comedian, she always kept a smile on her face. Every time you see her she always said something to make you laugh. Della was just a person who loved to party and have a good time. Her favorite words was always, "you got a couple of dollars" and "you bum ". Della will forever live in our hearts and memories. Della leaves to cherish her memories: two children, Don 'te Megginson, and Shanika Megginson; son-in-law, Bernard Johnston; four grand kids, Kenyawn Megginson, Monae Megginson, Brandon Johnston and Zoey Johnston; another devoted father, James Brown; two brothers, George Lee Jr. and Marvin Lee; four sisters, . Patricia Milligan, Delores Lee, Maria Wells and Dorothea Simms; one brother-in-law, Leroy Wells; two sisters- in-law, Sheila Lee and Cynthia Lee and a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she was so dearly close to.
