Obituary

Ademola Omisore known to many as Tony and Eddie, was born on'June 8,1944 in lie Ife, Nigeria to the late Chief lawai Ilesanmi Omisore, and Princess Raliatu Adesiyan Om- isore. On Saturday, February 7,2015, God called Ademola from earth to glory. Ademola obtained his elementary and secondary education in the Nigerian School System. After completing his secondary education in Nigeria, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland to attend the University of Baltimore where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. While in Germany, he was trained as a mechanical engineer and worked fora shipping company. In Baltimore, he held many jobs. He was employed in the Baltimore City Public School System and the Department of Social Services as a Social Worker. Ademola gave his live to the Lord at Trinity African Methodist Episco- pal (AME) Church in 1978. He was a member of the Trustee Board, the Senior Choir, and the Male Chorus. He loved singing with the Male Chorus. His favorite hymn was "Pass Me Not 0 Gentle Savior. n He was elated when the Senior Choir director (Delores Branch) gave him a solo and he sang it well even if no one knew what he was sing- ing. His proudest moment was in 1990 when he represented Trinity AME church at the Baltimore Annual Conference as "Man of the Year" and received a Congressional Achievement Award from Congress- man Kweise Mfume for outstanding contributions to the choir. Not only did he love to sing, but he loved to dance, and oh how he could dance, all night if you let him or until the lights came on. Ademola was President of the Egbe Omo lfe Baltimore, USA an asso- ciation of Nigerian Ife natives who reside in Baltimore. In addition to being the President of Egbe Omo Ife for many years, Ademola will- ingly accepted invitations to name children of family and friends at no charge. He performed naming ceremonies for many, many years and took pride and joy in these celebrations. Ademola along with Bolaji was living the bachelor I son life when he met Doreen Johnson and as they say, the rest is history. The two entered into holy matrimony on July 2, 1988. From this union, Folake Yetunde was born. Tony, as Doreen affectionately called him, enjoyed traveling, social and family gatherings and watching 60 min- utes every Sunday. He was a faithful, loving and devoted husband. Ademola leaves to cherish fond memories, a loving wife, Doreen; two sons, Basiru Olabode and Bolaji; two daughters, Folashade and Folake; three siblings, Mrs. Mulikat Lasisi (Nigeria), Abass Omisore (Nigeria), and Oladiji Omisore (Baltiimore); other brothers and sisters including His Royal Highness Kayode Omisore (Nigeria), Mrs. Deola Ogundele (Nigeria), Kunle Omisore (Baltimore), Yomi Omisore (Bowie, Maryland), and Bioye Omisore (Germany); many grandchil- dren and great-grand children along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ademola also leaves other special people in his life Jean Powell Omisore, Anita Harris (sister in law), Solomon, Sunday, and Toyin. Viewing Joseph H.
