Obituary

Adrienne Estella Coe, lifelong native of Baltimore Maryland, gained her wings on January 29, 2021 at the age of 59.

Adrienne was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 23, 1961 to parents Estella Mabel Coe and the late Raymond Randolph Coe Sr.

She received her education in the Baltimore city school system. She also attended Towson State University as an Art Major. She was an employee of Coppin State University for more than 15 years as Administrative Assistant. Adrienne also worked in retail for many years where she was well known for her unique and creative window displays.

Adrienne knew early on in life that she wanted to serve God. At a very young age, she gave her life to Christ at First Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church. She sang as a soloist on the sun beams, and the youth choir under the leadership of her grandfather, the late Bishop Leo Kato Ceaser. At the age of 11, the song she was most well-known for was "I Made a Vow". She often travelled, and performed with the young adult choir. During that time she was also in charge of sketching the pictures for the Sunday morning programs.

She attended Forest Park Senior High School where she met Eric Tharrington, her high school sweetheart. Out of that union came a daughter Tia Tharrington, whom they raised together while remaining friends.

Her passions were music (house music was her favorite), dancing, cooking on the grill, taking photos, expressing her creativity, traveling, and believe it or not fishing. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She especially loved doting on her granddaughter that she affectionately called "ladybug". She was our go to person when planning family events, and never forgot a special occasion. Christmas was one of her favorite holidays! She would often take the lead on decorating, gift wrapping, and ensuring that everyone received a gift. Our favorite family memory growing up on Chatham was having to wait on her to open our gifts, not realizing she had stayed up all night wrapping them.

Adrienne was loved and very popular on Facebook. One of the reasons was because she was the administrator of the."Gone to Soon, But Not Forgotten" page, as well as helped maintain the "Forest Park Class of 79 Alumni" that kept her very close to her Forest Park family.

Adrienne was proceeded in death by her father Raymond Randolph Coe Sr., brother Dereck Coe. She leaves to cherish her memory mother, Estella Coe; daughter, Tia Tharrington; granddaughter, Khloe Williams; siblings, Raymond Coe Jr., Deneen Motley, Tamiko Myles (Antwon), Tiwann Coe and Trenee Coe-Young, brother in-laws; Kevin
