Agnes Clarice Carter, daughter of the late James H . Carter, Sr . and
Viola Carter. Agnes was born on December 23, 1942 in Baltimore,
Maryland . She departed this life on December 21, 2015 after a lengthy
illness.

She received her education in the Baltimore Cit y Public School
System. She graduated from Morgan State Universit y in 1975 with a
Bachelor's of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education . After gradu-
ation Agnes gained employment with Baltimore Cit y Public School
System and was an outstanding Educator for 33 years until she retired
in 2008.

Agnes is survived by one child , daughter, Stephanie J . Carter - Tolbert
and son-in - law, Stephen B. Tolbert , four grandchildren, Kenneth 1 .
Carter, Andrea C. Carter, Andrew J. Carter and Stephen L . Moody and
five great - grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews to
whom she loved as her own.

Agnes made numerous friends throughout her life and career and she
will definitely be missed by us all.

She leaves to mourn her loss , her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren,
great grandchildren, sister and brothers and a host of nieces , neph e ws,
other relatives and friends.
