ALBERT BROWN, JR, son of the late Albert Brown, Sr. and Nellie Mae Brown, was born on June 23, 1950 in Jackson, Mississippi. Sadly, we lost Albert on Saturday, June 21, 2014 suffering a heart attack. Albert received his education at Cardoza High School in Queens, NY. At the age of seventeen, he joined the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. Following Vietnam, Albert worked at Kingsbridge Veterans Hospital in Queens, NY. He later moved to Maryland in the early 1970's. He worked at the MECU Bank in Baltimore, MD until retiring the mid-2000s. Albert was a member of the Kingdom Life Church Usher Board. Every Sunday, Albert welcomed the congregation along with visiting guests into the Lord's house with a smile and a friendly word. He also enjoyed participating in sporting activities with young children including coaching the youth basketball and baseball teams yearly. Albert made numerous friends and touched many lives wherever he went and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and a devoted family man. Albert has joined Albert Sr., Nellie Mae Brown, James Arthur Brown (brother), Albert Brown III (son) in heaven. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Elaine Brown; Betty Moore (aunt); sisters, Jessie Mae Williams and Althea Smith; daughter, Sharima Brown; his sons, Jevon Brown, Jason Brown, Christopher Brown, Kevin Brown and Corey Brown; eleven (11) grandchildren, fourteen (14) nieces and nephews, fifteen (15) great-nieces and nephews; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
