Alexander Gunn son of the late Booker T and Elizabeth Gunn was born
on April 23, 1949 in Annapolis, Maryland. He was the fourth of six
children, who attended various schools both domestically and in
Europe. Alexander graduated in 1968 from Thomas Johnson High School in
Frederick, Maryland.

Alex, as he was fondly known had many interest; but the most promise
with his culinary skills, and often enjoyed many evenings cooking for
friends and family. Alex enjoyed travel, and was passionate about his
·talking" dog, Sheba! He was very sociable, but enjoyed his soap
operas: The Young and The Restless, and The Bold and The Beautiful; he
also loved football, especially his team The Ravens, which he followed
religiously. Alexander had a sincere love and passion for his family
and friends, and was known to have a remarkable sense of humor.

Alexander chose a career in the medical industry, as a Respiratory
Therapist, where he ultimately retired in April 2008 with 30 years of
service from Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. And he was
held in high regard for his expertise, dedication, and professionalism
amongst his peers and hospital staff.

He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory: his siblings Booker T,
Diane V. Nero (Jimmy) , John (Gwendolyn) , Robert (Cheryl) , and Michael;
his nieces Yolanda, Marquise, Mariah, and Qeturah; his nephews
