Loving Thoughts
God hath not promised skies always blue;
Flowers strewn pathways all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain;
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
But God hath promised strength for the day;
Rest for the labor; light for the way;
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

Have you ever lost someone who was so very dear to you?
One you loved so very much and miss the way I do?
The evening of Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 8:35 p.m.
when I knew that he was gone
my heart was with much sorrow and many tears were shed.
Have you ever had the heartache or ever felt the pain?
Or wiped away the tears that dropped like falling rain?
If you have never had this feeling, I pray you never do.
For when God takes away a Husband, Pastor and Friend,
He takes away a part of you.

Mother Ruth Phillips
