On thursday, August 17, 2006, God called His servant, Alfreda Cordelia Sebree, home to rest after a lenghthy illness. Alfreda, the beloved daughter of the late Flonia Chambers and and Catherine Sturdivant, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 21, 1946. Alfreda, affectionately known as ''Freda,'' began working for B.A.R.C. now known as A.R.C. of Baltimore in the mid 1980's, where she met the love of her life, John Sebree. Shortly afterwards, she became a devoted and loving homemaker, which she infinitely enjoyed. Freda had the privilege of enjoying an unusually special marriage for over nineteen years. She and her affectionely loving husband were bound at the hip. They enjoyed and appreciated the simplest things in life. Whenever you saw one, you saw the other. Whenever you spoke to one on the telephone, you had to speak to the other. Even though Freda was deficent in one area, our Sovereign God made up for it by allowing her to enjoy a marriage that exemplified a picture of Christ and the Church. Freda gave her life to the Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age at the First Apostolic Faith church. On August 15, 1994, she rededicated her life to God and began her ministry in the Sanctuary Choir and Inspirational Choir wher she remained a faithful servant. She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memory; her devoted husband and best friend, John Alvin Sebree Jr.; stepdauther Deon Sebree; two grandchildren, Ladria Sebree and Lamont Sebree; two sisters, Angela Reid-Ampey and Sheronda Reid; two brothers, Flonoy C. Chambers and Wilburt M. Chambers; mother-in-law, Esther A. Sebree; four sisters-in-law, Bertina Wilson, Evelyn Sebree, Patricia Hughes and Vaile Chambers; four brothers-in-law, James H.Ampey, William Hughes, Ray Wilson and William E. Sebree Sr.; a special aunts uncle, James and Valter Richardson; a host of other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
