Alice Grady, was born on November 23, 1941 to Ressie

and Thelma Grady.

She lived in North Carolina and received her education in

Raleigh. Alice later moved to Baltimore, Maryland to

study nursing. Her most fruitful and gratifying study was

childcare.

In late 1968, Alice met and married Lawrence Herbert

(deceased), a U.S. Army Officer.

Alice was a great friend, a listening ear and could keep

you on the phone for hours. She will truly be missed.

She leaves to mourn: three daughters, Lisa Pendleton,

Bridget Bailey and Kimberly Herbert; one son, Jamal; one

preceded her in death Michael Grady; 11 grandchildren,

Takiyah, Katarah, Brittany, Alyssa, Deddrick, Sheldon,

Davon, Michael, Melvin, Maurice and Montre; 16 great-

grandchildren Tyona, Cerrell, Aniya, Kaoree, Xander,

Dakota, LaRae, Rayquan, Madison, Mason, Addison,

Brooklyn, La'Kaiyah, Maurice Jr., Jayden, Malaya, and

Micah; three great-great-grandchildren, Khailia, Drew,

TraJoir; two sisters, Deborah Grady and Margaret Grady;

4 brothers, Neil, Michael, Greg and Andre "Big Mike" as

she called him; 2 lifelong friends, Leona Wheeler and

Eamestine Debro and a host of other nieces, nephews and

friends.
