Allan Dwight Burrell, Sr. was born on July 13, 1951. He was the son of the late Louise and Edmond Harrison Burrell. He departed this life on November 30, 2013. Allan was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He attended Bay College of Maryland, where he studied drawing and photography. Allan was employed by the Alamo Car Rental Company. He regularly attended the Godly Heart Ministries Church. He was married to the late Ella Mae Thompson for 13 years. From that union, two children were born. Allan was affectionately called "Unka Daddy" by his grandchildren who he loved spending time with. He loved drawing, playing games, watching movies, telling stories, taking pictures, and making videos with them. Most of all, he loved making his famous banana pudding for them. Allan also known as "AB", spent most of his time connected to his family and friends. When called upon by his family and friends, he would help in any way that he could. Though reserved in some ways, he would also be "the life of the party". He loved to dance and he loved, listening to music. He is survived by two children, Allan Burrell, Jr. and Donilla Lawson, one son-in-law, Walter Lawson, four grandchildren, Tionna. Trevion, Brandon and Morgan, five sisters, LaRessa Tate, Audrey Chavis, ShaRon Johnson, Dawn Smith, Candice Burrell, one brother Edmond W. Burrell, one sister-in-law, Beverly Burrell, two brothers-in- law, Thomas Johnson and Raymond Smith, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Viewing Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
