Alto H. Clark, daughter of the late Samuel Carson and Helen Green Brooks, was born on October 13, 1931 in Union Bridge, Maryland. She departed this life on June 2, 2012 after a lengthy illness. m She graduated from Robert Morton High School in Westminster, Maryland. She retired from Springfield State Hospital after twenty-five years of service. She was a life long member of Bark Hill Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She had a great smile and a king spirit that welcomed everyone she met. She was a wonder and it was a blessing to have her in our lives. "Thanks Be to God." She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Fletcher Clark; her devoted children, John W. Patterson, Jr. of Frederick, Maryland, Michael C. Patterson and wife Barbara of New Windsor, Maryland, Jay A. Patterson of Baltimore, Maryland, Sherry r. Bowie and husband Tyrone of Frederick, Maryland and Tina A. Turner of Baltimore, Maryland; stepdaughter, Wanda Clark Bowyer; grandchildren, Jerome Patterson, Michael Patterson II, Naim Al-Ali, Sandra Patterson, Tylynn Bowie, Serena Kefauver and Angelica Cassidy; step-grandchildren, Jaryn Colbert and Saige Colbert; great-grandchildren, Jerome Patterson, II, Jasmine Patterson and Jordyn Patterson, cousins, many nieces and nephews.
