ALTON NATHANIEL ROYAL SR . , the second of eight
children was born March 22, 1954 to the late Nathaniel and
Rose Royal in Clinton, North Carolina. On Thursday, May 12,
2016 at 9:15 a.m. he departed this life after a lengthy illness.

Alton or Bo-Bo, as he was affectionately known, was educated in
Baltimore City Public School System. He was employed by Sinai
Hospital in the VSP Dept. for over fifteen years until his passing.

Alton was krown to be a jokester. He played jokes on everyone.
He would flip his eyelids inside out and chase everyone around.
He loved singing and doing his favorite dance, the "running man".
He always greeted you with a smile and would say "What's up
Dawg".

He was very protective of his sisters. He loved people and was
always willing to help out (after a long lecture of course). He
touched the lives of many everywhere he went. He will truly be
missed.

He loved discussing sports and politics. Most importantly, before
departing this life, Alton confessed Jesus and was saved.

Alton's two brothers, Roger Byrd and Harold Lee Royal preceded
him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Nicole Royal
of Clinton, North Carolina; son, Alton Royal of Baltimore,
Marylandj four grandchildren, Starzhay Kenan, Tanasia Murphy,
DyZiyre Brewington and Ny'Sir Brewington of Clinton, North
Carolina; five sisters, Emma Davis (Jerry), Shirley Royal, Vera
Royal, Sandra Royal and Danita Royal; his significant other,
Sandy [ackson: her children, Tyisha and Myisha Hayman: and
her granddaughter, Rose Parabee: and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
