Alverronnie "Buddy" Brown, 58, of Baltimore, MD, went home to be with the Lord on the 4 May, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Buddy was born in Jersey City, NJ to Alverronnie Brown Sr. and Erline Brown on 8 December, 1958.

He attended high school at Henry Schneider High School in Jersey City, NJ and graduated in 1976. After High School he enlisted in the United States Marines, however, after three years he transitioned to the United States Army.

He was involved in Operation Kindness and giving back to the homeless in the local area. He enjoyed coloring and playing chess with his youngest son. He had a kind soul and touched everyone in which he came in contact, especially the ladies. He battled cancer like a true warrior and never complained about his circumstances.

Buddy is preceded in death by his mother and father, Alverronnie Brown Sr. and Erline Brown.

Buddy is survived by his sister, Sharrone Lawrence, brother, Donnell Brown, sister, Donna Wimbush, son, Alverronnie Brown III., son, Tyrone Brown all of Jersey City, NJ, daughter, Christin Thompson, son, Alverhanne' Brown, and a host of nephews, nieces and grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to University of Maryland Medical Center and Gilchrist Hospice Center Staff for all the care and support provided to Buddy during his battle with cancer.
