IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alvin Jackson,
Sr.
October 22, 1946 – February 26, 2021
Alvin Ronald Jackson Sr., of Baltimore, Maryland, departed this life on Friday, February 26, 2021, peacefully at home. Alvin was born Tuesday, October 22, 1946, in Baltimore, Maryland, son of the James Melvin Jackson and Ella Mae Jackson-Moore, who preceded him in death. Alvin was one of six children and was preceded in death by his brother, James "Butch" Jackson and two sisters, Joyce Scott, and Patricia A. Gaines.
Alvin attended Frederick Douglas High School — Baltimore City. After high school Alvin enlisted in the United States Army and served proudly for two years. After honorably departing the military, Alvin went on to work for the U.S Department of Homeland Security(TSA) until his death.
Affectionately known to his family and friends as "Big Alvin" was warm, quiet, passionate, an electronic whiz, a emphatic Baltimore Ravens fan, and loved the casino. Alvin loved to tell a joke to anyone who would listen and many times laughed so hard, he would have to finish later.
Alvin leaves to cherish his memory: one devoted son, Alvin and daughter-in-love, Paula; three grandchildren, Alvin of Phoenix, AZ, Martin (Teshanna) of New York, NY, and Tyrel (Anastasia) of Milford, DE; two sisters, Beverly Jackson Morton and Ernestine Barbara Jackson; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
