Amelia Belinda Fowlkes, daughter of Charlotte Weems and the late Joseph L Bennett, Sr. was horn on August 21, 1958 in Baltimore, Md. Amelia departed this lire suddenly on June 15, 2015. Amelia grew up in a loving family and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death hy three sisters: Cheryl Weems, Lunette and Patricia Bennett; and two brothers: David and Shawn Mayers. Amelia, affectionately known hy her family and friends as "Lenny", was educated in the Baltimore City Puhlic School System. Lenny met and married the late Ivan Fowlkes in 1975. They were blessed to share their lilc with two children: Tiffany and Jaquicl. Lenny was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to cook, shop lor her Iarni Iy and friends and her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, known by her as her "bayhays". She read the Our Daily Bread every day. During her early years, Lenny heldjobs in the Food Service Industry and at Fort Meade. She also volunteered at University of Maryland Hospital and the Veteran's Administration, reading to the sick, which she enjoyed very much. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Tiffany and Jaquicl: II grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, mother: Charlotte Weems; Step-father, James Scruggs; 2 brothers: Joseph L. Bennett, III, J. Bennett; 4 sisters: Janelle Westbrook (Pete); Robin Bennett; Denise Bennett; and Renee Bennett; 6 uncles; 7 aunts and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing Joseph H.
