December 26, 1952 – April 14, 2022
Amy A. Jackson the daughter of the late Pauline B. and James H. Jackson
was born December 26, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. She gained her
wings April 14, 2022 after a short illness.
Amy was educated in the Baltimore Public School System where she
graduated from Edmondon High School. She pursued her Bachelor and
Master Degrees in social work.
Amy was employed by the Social Security Administration and after over
20 years of service she retired. She then pursued her passion helping
alcohol and substance abusers, she believed if she could help someone as
she passed along then her living would not be in vain.
Amy was a member of the Shiloh CC Church for over 40 yrs. She sang on
the choir and was most recently serving on the deacon board. She was a
devoted member of the Tuesday Seniors until her health failed.
Amy leaves to mourn: one daughter Hope D. Jackson; two step daughters
Chonte Mack and Winifred Jones; five grandchildren Denise Y. Andrews,
Dominic M. Andrews, Robert J. Lynch, Tevin L. Lynch and Jordan J.
Andrews; three great grandchildren Jayden D. Sykes, Amorah Andrews
and Elton Andrews; one niece Jacquetta Dorsey-Butler; one great niece
Makenzee N. Butler; one great nephew Kelly N. Butler and a host of other
family and friends.
