Charles E. Canty, son of the late Edward Collins and his living mother, Inez Ellis. He was born on July 25, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on August 22, 2012. He was a high school graduate from the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked at the Baltimore Sun Newspaper and then entered Jobs Corps where he received training in Catering and Food Services. He then worked twenty years and retired from the Sheet Metal Company. At the time of his death, he had worked fifteen years for the Hedwin Corporation as a faithful and dedicated employee. Charles made numerous friends wherever he went. He was a fun-loving man who enjoyed cooking all types of food. Charles loved his mother and family. He loved to make people laugh. He always had a word of encouragement and he was never short of words. He will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn; his mother, Inez Ellis; one brother Elder Antonio Jones; one sister-in-law, Minister Janet Jones; nieces, Latonya Jones, Lauren Jones and Sinie Jones; cousin who was more like a sister, Carolyn Jasmin and cousin goddaughter, Shakeeya Canty; and a host of other relatives and friends
