Obituary

Ander Michael Tyler also known as "Dre" by some family and friends was born September 08,1971 in New York City, New York to the late Henry Albert Tyler and Dorothy G. Griffin. On December 4,2014 he died after several accomplishments and many struggles. God Did not take my son, He died because of inherited sin and imperfection passed on to him by our first parents Adam and Eve because of their disobedience. Romans 5: 12. Almighty Jehovah God gave us the greatest expression of his love. (John 3:16) by sending his son Jesus Christ to provide the ransom so that Andre would have the hope of a resurrection. (John 5:28-29 and John 11 25, 26) He had a zeal for worship from Islam to Jehovah's Witnesses. Andre married NiKiah Washi~on Feb.1, 2010. They Loved each other. The 6'4" giant with that great big smile and dimples was a meticulous person when it came to cleaning. His favorite cleaning product was bleach. Dre Loved eating mushrooms and smoked oysters. He was taught to play chess by his Uncle Lee at an early age. He came in second place in a chess tournament at the age of 8 years old. HE LOVED SPORTS!! Andre was a home team fan of the Baltimore Ravens, the Orioles, college football, and basketball. He and Uncle Preston (Rod) always went at it about the Ravens and the Steelers. Andre loved the New York Knicks because of his" New York connection". During his early years he played basketball and baseball for Baltimore City Parks and Recreation. He volunteered for th~ Maryland Food Bank, the Maryland Food Committee, and various pantries. He was a BPMS (Blood Pressure Measurement Specialist) His jokes were spontaneous. He loved caring for animals. His favorite was Mr. Brown, a Pomeranian. He is survived by his wife Nikiah Tyler. Daughters Ashley Michelle (Ashley) and Akira Monet Tyler(Renee). Two step-daughters Jahraya and Nayana. Mother Dorothy G,Griffin who loved him unconditionally. His last text to her was "Momma I truly love you and appreciate all you do and have done for me" (Momma I always need you in my life. Pray for me!!! ) Brother Lamonte B Tyler (Dawn) Lamonte truly loved Andre and did whatever he could to make his life happy. His late father blessed him with 8 bothers and 3 sisters. 3 great aunts Hattie Greene, Elizabeth Colclough and Helen Burnett. 3 aunts Adelaide (Marion) Saundra and Pamela, who all loved him dearly and supported him in any way they could. Pam and Andre had a special bond regardless of his situation, she was there thru thick and thin. 5 Uncles Marion, Robert (Roszina), Preston, Barry, Lee, and Darrell were all instrumental in different intervals of his life. 2 nieces Tanee' and Keionta. 3 nephews Farrell, Keiyon and Ryan. 1st cousins, Kenneth, Tracey, Darryl, Tonya, Rovell, Keontye (Tay), Shenier, Baron, Barry Jr., Aaron, Lee (Lil Lee), Charlene, Antonio (Tony) , and Ivy. In his last days, he and his cousin Rovell had aspirations for greater endeavors. Andre was his Aunt Adelaide and Uncle Marion's 1 st baby. 2 devoted friends George Cannida whom he loved as a brother, Melondie Phillips, and a host of other family and friends who will cherish his memories.
