Angela Lofton daughter of Melvin and Sandra Brown,

was born on March 3, 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life

on June 7, 2017, after a brief illness.

She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System.

After graduating from Walbrook High School, she was gainfully employed

with Charm City Catering, the Department of Social Services (east), and

lastly at the family business, Melvin's Food Market.

Angela leaves behind her legacy with her children, Arie Lofton, Devin

Lofton, and Shamar Tanner. She taught them valuable life lessons that will

truly help them to get through this sudden tragedy.

Angela unselfishly gave her all when she didn't have to, caring for the

children of family and friends, giving her the nickname "Aunt Angie".

Angie, as she was fondly known by all, knew her way around kitchen, often

experimenting with different flavors, seasonings, and spices. She was a

free - spirited person; always the life of the party. Angie lived life to the

fullest until her final days.

She was a friend to all, it didn't matter where you came from or what you

had. Angie forgave, admitted her faults, but most importantly, was always

there for her loved ones. She was a good woman, regardless of her setbacks

in life.

She leaves to mourn: her parents, Melvin and Sandra Brown; children,

Arie, Devin, and Shamar; siblings: Nerissa Carroll, Tony Brown, Melvin

Brown, and Kellisa Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives,

and friends; and lifelong friends, Deana Queen and Diana Johnson.
