Annette Young daughter of the late Jim and Roseanna Chavis was born on November 7, 1958 in Robeson County, North Carolina.

She received her education in the Robeson County Public School System.

After high school she gained employment at the Converse Tennis Show Company and was a loyal employee until relocating her family to Baltimore, MD in 1981.

Annette worked numerous construction jobs to take care of her family after relocating to Maryland one of which she helped build East Point Mall. In 1994 Annette began working for Baltimore County Public Schools as a lead custodian and was a loyal employee until 2005 when she became disable.

After becoming disable she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, fishing and traveling.

She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Henry Young; five children, Amanda (Jovan), Bill, Toshia, Margaret (Jerome) and Redell Jr.; eleven grandchildren, Shaquetta, Jazsmein, Brittany, Kadence, Devont'a, Jay, Karon, Miasia, Lil Earl, Shaquasia and Angel; four great grandchil- dren, Autumn, Tarajih, Jordyn, and Niani; one sister, Jeannette Wynn; two special young men that she treated like her sons, Tyrek and Damonn and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends .
