Annie Louise Gregory, was born on May 23, 1930 to the late Samuel and Jeter Fletcher of Elms, North Carolina. She departed this life on July 10,2014 after a brief illness at Brinton Wood @ Frankford. Annie (affectionately known as Louise) grew up in Elms, North Caroli- na and moved to Baltimore in 1955. She worked at Sf. Joseph Hospital in the dietary departmentfrom 1956-1961. She became a nanny in 1961 and worked for Marvin Copeland and Sam Mavrick until 1980. Annie became a member of Southern Baptist Church of Baltimore City in 1959 and remained a member until her death. While there she was a member of the choir and attended bible study until her health began to decline. She was an avid bible reader and loved the book of Psalms. The 23rd Psalm was her favorite. Annie was active in her grandchildren's lives while they were growing up. She took them to the movies, celebrated holidays together and taught them to play dominos. Annie was very independent and never wanted to depend on anyone to do anythingfor her. Even when the arthritis got bad and she could hardly walk she would get in a scooter in the market and do her shopping. She learned to get around with her cane and walker very well. Annie was very particular about how she kept things in her apartment. If a pillow was flat she would fluff it up, if the slip covers for the chair rose up a little she would correct it. She always wanted things just so. She was preceded in death by her only child, William Henry Fletcher and all of her brothers and sister. She leaves to mourn: daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Fletcher; 5 grandchil- dren, E. Annette (Damon) Stewart, Lawrence (Charlene) Fletcher, Wil- liam (AKA Lee) (Jen) Fletcher, Gabrielle Fletcher, and Kimberly Binnie; 15 great grandchildren: Allegra Fletcher, Devrin Stewart, Dylan Stew- art, Christian Fletcher, Alexis Fletcher, Zachary Fletcher, Joelee Fletch- er-Chatman, Jaelyn Fletcher, Charlize Fletcher, Shaw Binnie Jr., Keith Gilliam, Seth Binnie, Cayleen Binnie, Jersey Fletcher and Keegan Fletch- er; 1 great great granddaughter, Nevaeh Stewart; 3 sisters-in-law, Lillian Fletcher, Annie Fletcher and Barbara Fletcher; a host of nieces, neph- ews, and cousins.
