Annie Eunice Martin, beloved daughter of the late Beatrice and Enoch Thomas was born on September 18, 1933 in Charlotte Courthouse, Virginia. She departed this life much too soon for those who loved her on July 1, 2011. Annie was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools. she was employed at Fulton Laundry, Read's Drug Store and lead cook at White Tower Restraurant. Yet, because of her love for kids, the majority of her latter years of emloyment were spent as an at-home day care provider. Her hobbies included roller stating, playing cards, jig-saw puzzles, doing word search books and spending time with family and friends. In 1961, Annie married Charles Martin. Annie joined Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in 1967 and was baptized by the late Reverend James Matthews. She later reinstated her membership in March 1986. Annie was an active member of the Mother's Council until her health begin to fail. Annie Martin leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Martin: one siter, Ruby Shuler: one brother-in-law: Mayloy Shuler: one sister-in-law: Gladys Thomas; five children: Patricia Matthews; ruby Jones: Gladys Fisher; Charles Martin, Jr. and Shandria Martin; tow sons-in-law: Keith Fisher and Lamont Matthews one daughter-in-law: Renee martin; thirty grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, niece and nephews and many other relatives and friends who all adored their Grandma Ann.
