Annie Marie Owens, daughter of the late Fred Sr. and Addie L. Owens, was born on september 18, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland. s She departed this life on March 3, 2009. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a woman who loved Jehovah. She graduated from Carver Vocational High School in 1957. Upon completion of her education, she became employed by Raleigh Sewing Company, Joseph A. Banks and Lord and Taylor. She finally retired from Loyola College. Annie studied and became a dedicated baptized member of the Jehovah's Witnesses on April 8, 1950. She was a faithful servant for more than fifty-six years. Annie leaves behind a host of family members to mourn her passing; her eldest son, Darryl Lowery and her youngest son, Terry L. Owens, Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Michelle F. Owens; and three stepdaughters, Rosalind Prince, Karen Prince and Nicole Prince. She was a grandmother to five grandchildren, Terry L. Owens, Jr; Michael Owens, Tara Owens, Matthew Owens and Tyler Owens. Annie also leaves behind her brother David Owens and his wife Helga, a brother Fred Owens and his wife Carole, a sister Dorothy Walker and her youngest sister Pat Green and her husband Walter. Annie was preceded in death by two brothers, the late Leroy Owens and the late Jerome Owens. Annie leaves behind a host of family and friends who will always love and dearly miss her.
