Obituary

One thing have I desired of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4 Anthony Brown, the second child born to Evander Brown, Sr. and Teresa Holton, was born on September 6, 1962 in Baltimore City. On Wednesday, March 6, 2013, the promise of everlasting life was granted to Anthony. Anthony, affectionately known as Tony, grew up in the Chelsea Terrace section of Baltimore City before moving to Woodlawn during his teen years. Tony attended the public schools of Baltimore City and County. Tony was a 1981 graduate of Woodlawn Senior High School. He matriculated at Morgan State University and earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in 1987. In 1990, Tony married Tracy I. Jennings of Howard Park. From this union, two daughters Audlyn Danielle and Aurielle Danae and one son Aaron Michael were born. This union ended in divorce in 2006. At the time of his death Tony was employed at Home Depot. Tony affirmed his faith in God early in life at St. Peter Clavers Catholic Church and later became a member of New Antioch Baptist Church. Tony loved basketball and as a youth played in Baltimore City's BNBL Youth Basketball League. While a student at Morgan State University Tony joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Gamma Chapter, and later joined the Maryland Prince Hall Masons. Tony held membership in W. T. Wallace Lodge #134, Landmark Lodge #40, Samuel T. Daniels #107, Royal Arch Masons, Palestine Commandery #5, Knights Templar, I. H. Clayborn Consistory #363, Tuwa Temple #228, Jerusalem Temple #4, Annie S. Banks Chapter #42, Order of the Eastern Star and St. John's Court #2, Heroines of Jericho. Tony leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Audlyn and Aurielle; one son Aaron, his mother Teresa Brown, two brothers DeWayne Hall and Evander, Jr., one sister Felecia, one sister in law Crystal Washington-Hall, two granddaughters Madison McGee and Aamirrah Brown and a host of other relatives and friends. His father, Evander Brown, Sr., predeceased him.
