IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony C.
Cooke
February 28, 1991 – December 2, 2017
Anthony C. CooKe, son of Arthur Cooke, was born on February 28, 1991 in Baltimore, Maryland. Anthony departed this life suddenly on December 02, 2017 at John Hopkins
Hospital.
Anthony was educated in the Baltimore County Public School System. Anthony furthered his education at Baltimore City Community College.
Anthony was raised by his father Arthur Cooke. Arthur and Anthony shared a bond that was special. Anthony looked to Arthur for advice and guidance in his life and "Arthur was always willing to share any knowledge that he had to help steer Anthony in the right direction. Anthony was Arthur's youngest child and Arthur loved him so much. Arthur would have all of his children pray at the end of the night before they would go to bed and each night one of the children would have to lead in prayer. This personal relation- ship with GOD that Arthur introduced to Anthony stayed with him always. Anthony and Arthur were best friends and more importantly they were father and son.
Anthony grew up very close with his other siblings, Lakeisha Woods, Derrick Shannon, Eric Cooke, and Derricka Shannon. Anthony had a unique bond with each of his siblings. Anthony and Lakeisha were lifetime partners. Anthony and Eric were the definition of brothers, always looking out for one another, yet never afraid to correct one another. Anthony and Derricka were best friends, they confided in one another, they always pushed each other to do better reminding each other of how they would do anything for one another. Anthony and Derrick were each other's greatest competition. Anthony would often issue a challenge to Derrick and Derrick would gladly accept, always trying to prove that they were always one step ahead of each other. Derrick always said that out of all of his brothers and sisters, Anthony was the one who could do anything that he set his mind to do.
Anthony also had two younger siblings, Tyrek and Tyionna McMillian who he loved very much, and was the father of one daughter, Autumn Cooke, who he loved unconditionally and would do anything for his daughter, who he called 'JuJu'. Autumn would always yell, "DADDY" when she saw her father and Anthony would always reply, "hey my JuJu." There is nothing more special than a daughters love for her father and Autumn's love for Anthony was no exception.
To carry his legacy, Anthony leaves behind, one daughter, Autumn Cooke and his father, Arthur Cooke; mother, Beatrice Cooke; three brothers, Derrick Shannon, Eric Cooke, and Tyrek McMillian; three sisters, Lakeisha Woods, Derricka Shan- non and Tyionna McMillian; three nephews, Derrick Jr., Jordan and Drake; six nieces, Kyionna, Storm, Erykah, Der'Rykah, Saige and Jewel. Along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of beloved friends.
