Anthony Napoleon Hooker was born July 2, 1955 to Miss Ollie Marie

Mercer and the late Monroe Johnson. He departed this life on May 1, 2019

at 5:00 p.m.

He attended school in Goldston, North Carolina School System.

He resided in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 18 where he picked up

many trades and different jobs. He soon became a loyal employee for

Abacus Corporation in-the janitorial service for 28 years. He truly loved his

job. Anthony never had children but he considered his nieces and nephews

as his children.

He loved to tell jokes and making people laugh all the time. He made

numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by every-

one.

He is preceded in death by his father, Monroe Johnson; grandparents,

Pauline and Price Hooker; uncles, Levan Hooker, June Hooker and Leroy

Hooker.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Ollie Mercer; two sisters,

Octavia Koger and Tammy Mercer; brother-in-law, Thomas Glenn; two

nieces, Octavia White and Shanice Williams; one nephew, Johnnie Koger;

two aunts, Delores Thompson and Allene Street; three uncles, Kent Hook-

er, Paul Hooker and William Hooker from Goldston, NC; two very devoted

friends, Tattoo Parker and Mr. Kenny.
