ANTHONY BERNARD "Tone" MALONE OUR BELOVED was the first son and
second born child to the late George "Sam" Lomax and LauraBell Malone
on May 29,1963.
Tone departed his earthly vessel on April 26, 2016. Like his siblings, Tone
was born and reared in Baltimore, Maryland. He received his education in
the Baltimore City Public School System. After graduating from Lake
Clifton Senior High School, Tone attended Bowie State University on a
football scholarship. Thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Army and
served his country. Tone, as his family and friends called him, became a
proud father of his only child, a beautiful young lady, Laura Tone' Malone,
whom he was proud of and loved and cherished dearly.
Tone held various jobs and was currently employed at NAPA AUTO PARTS
prior to his departure. Even though Tone was very easy-going, he loved
playing sports, especially football, traveling and mingling with those he
encountered, he was a very confidential person. Tone was loved by
everyone and he truly loved his family. He holds a special bond with his
cousins Gregory Hilton (Porky) and Alethea "Lede" Ragland. He always
talked about his boys, Ray Lanier, Carlos Fenwick, Hakim Farrakhan.
Where ever he was one of them was sure to be, they were more than
friends to him they were his brothers.
He often spoke of the good times he had growing up as he put it, "in a
warm and loving home", he shared with his Aunt Josephine or as he called
her "lo-Phine'' and his cousins Andrew, Robin, and James (Giddy), after
the passing of his mother
Tone, would attend family gatherings and just stand and watch the goings
on of others with his infamous smirk on his face. He truly enjoyed those
special moments with family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling
extensively. He just enjoyed life to its fullest.
Tone leaves his treasured memories to his devoted daughter Laura
Malone, his siblings Earl Austin, Wanda Brown, and Latefa "Pooh" Dorsey.
A host of aunts, uncles, cousin, and a devoted friend Astou. He was
proceeded in death by his mother LauraBell Malone, father George Lomax,
