Obituary

ANTHONY WILLIAM PARTLOWTONY was born to Thelma Partlow and the late Abraham Partlow Sr. on July 9, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was ninth of ten children. Tony entered etenarl rest on September 9, 2009, after a short illness. Tony, as he was called by family and friends, attended Baltimore City public schools. In Bible time the olive tree was considered the most valuable of trees. Throughout Scripture it symbolies value, peace, and a promise of better times to come. The olive tree known as a tree that stood with great endurance under any adverse condition. When Daivd compared himself with the olive tree, he was declaring this faith and trust in God as the One who enabled him to be strong, not only to survive but also to thrive and bear fruit no matter how his enemies pursued him. Tony stood strong and determined like the olive tree by enjoying life and loving those around him in spite of worldly views. There was nothing he would not do for anyone whether it be family or friends. Tony was a devoted son, brother and uncleand will be sincerely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Tony leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Damon Partlow; a granddaughter, Dimond Partlow and two grandsons, Keysean Dion Partlow and DeShawn Partlow; devoted and loving mother, Thelma Partlow; four sisters, PatriceReid, Barbara Partlow, Charlotte Partlow and Debra Partlow; brother, Ray partlow; brother-in-lawJames Reid; eight aunts, especially a devoted niece, Lisa Smith; twelve nephews, ten great-nieces, and ten great-nephews; a long time friend, Robert Buchanan; and a host of cousins and friends. Tony was perceded in death by his son Sean Dion Partlow, his father Abraham Partlow Sr., brother Abraham, Jr., Lawrence and Michael Partlow, sister Glenice Cornish and grandsons Daishard Partlow and Dashassawn Partlow.
