Obituary

Anthony Jerome Putty was born on September 30, 1961 to the late Russell Putty Jr. and the late Dorothy Putty. He departed this life suddenly on July 3, 2020.



Anthony received his early education in Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Inglewood High School in Chicago, IL. He was a member go the military as a wire system installer/operator, He was well educated and could fix just about anything.



Anthony loved his family. He also loved all kinds of music, he taught himself how to play numerous instruments. He played and sang in several bands as the lead singer. He loved going to church, and was a member of First Charity Baptist Church where he played the drums and sang on the Mass Choir and Male Chorus, and a member of Pennsylvania Avenue A.M.E. Zion Church. He was also a member of the Arch Social Club.



Anthony had a great sense of humor. He loved to party and loved for everyone to have a good time. He loved cars and also loved to travel. He was the type of person that if you called him, he would be there to help.



Anthony was a devoted father, grandfather, life partner, family man and friend. He had two children, five grandchildren and was the oldest of nine brothers and sisters, two preceded him in death Dorothy (Dee Dee) Brown and Gregory Putty.



He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters: Kim Putty and Tiffany Putty, five grandchildren: Laylah, Briana, Evan, James and Earl. His life partner Deborah and stepson Andre, seven siblings: Johnny (Udell) Douglas, Tina (Renee) King, Dorrence Putty, Angela (Sisssy) Bagley, Monica Harper, Sharon Harry and Natalie Harry. His grandmother FanniePutty, eight aunts, three uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
