Obituary

ANTHONY CAMPBELL, SR. was born on November 20, 1960 to

the late Fred Lee Campbell and Annie Ruth Workman-Campbell. He

was the youngest of six children. He departed his life suddenly on

July 19, 2019. His brothers, Freddie, Willie, Ernest and Hollie preceded

him in death.



Anthony was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System.

He also held numerous jobs in his lifetime.



Anthony, affectionately known as "Big Fish", was raised in Gilmore

Homes Projects/Sandtown Community. He began dating the love of

his life, Sharon Royster, and out of their union are three children:



Anthony Campbell, [r., Jamar Campbell and his precious baby girl

Anika Campbell, as well as Lakia Payne who he raised as his own.



Anthony gave his life to Christ in 1998. He joined Bethel AME Church

where he was a faithful member, until his death.



He also had an extended family that he attended daily (NA). He

started his recovery process on August 24, 2001, and he would

have celebrated 18 years in August. He loved going to meetings and

fellowshipping with his friends. He also loved being in service and

opening up the meetings he secretaried. He was loved by so many

there.



Anthony leaves to cherish his memory: the love of his life, Sharon

Royster; his children, Anthony Campbell [r., Jamar Campbell, Anika

Campbell and Kia Payne; sister, Jessie Campbell-Edwards; brother,

Little Fred Campbell; two brothers-in-law, Anthony Edwards and

Marvin Reynolds; five sisters-in-law, Wanda, Darlene, Torey, Gail

and Lynn; eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews,

including special nieces, Regina and China; as well as a host of special

best friends.
