On   Wednesday   May 8, 2024 Anthony Tyrone Bennett departed this life peacefully at home in Baltimore, MD.
"Tony,"  as  he  was  affectionately  called,  was  born  to  Doris  E.  and James Bennett Sr. on September 17, 1966.
Tony  was  loved  by all he encountered. He attended and received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System.
At a young  age Anthony  accepted  Jesus Christ as his Lord  and Savior.  In  2000,  Anthony  joined  Unity  Fellowship  Apostolic Church where he attended  and  worshipped  until he departed  his earthly body.  Anthony  loved  hearing  his cousin  Sonya P.  Johnson  and Choir sing his favorite Gospel songs.
During  his lifetime,  Anthony  worked  several jobs and  recently retired  with  the State of Maryland  working  as a Housekeeper. Anthony  was known  by  many  and  loved  by  ALL.  Tony  will be remembered  for his unique shyness and  his infectious laughter,  but more importantly  for the love and  care he showed  to  his close family and friends.
Anthony  was preceded  in  death  by  his loving  parents Doris E.  and James Bennett Sr.,  and  older brothers Mark  and  Perry  Hudgins and James Bennett Jr.
Anthony  leaves to  cherish  his memory: his sister,  Valarie Claiborne; brother,  Michael Bennett; three close friends he loved  dearly, Martin,  Anthony  and  Patrick  Nelson; and  a large host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
