Obituary

Antione Rodney Graham of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Antione was born on June 25, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Vernon Lee Graham and Delores Mae Graham.

He graduated from Forest Park High School in 1982 and briefly served in the United States Army. Antione later began his career with the United States Postal Service, where he met the love of his life, Beverly Graham. The two were married on July 16, 1990, and two years later welcomed their beloved daughter, Shannon Mackall (Graham). Antione retired from the Postal Service in June 2020.

Affectionately known as “Twan” by family and friends, Antione was known for his calm demeanor, sharp sense of humor, and love of music—especially funk, jazz, R&B, and hip hop. He enjoyed politics, endless debates, vacations with his wife and friends, and gatherings filled with laughter, conversation, and good company. He was a Black history enthusiast, an avid reader, a Stevie Wonder impersonator, and someone rarely seen without sunglasses resting on his head and his legs crossed. He was never short on advice and always willing to share his wisdom.

Antione genuinely cared for people. If he believed someone needed something, he found a way to provide it. Thanks to his love of Amazon Prime, it was not uncommon for him to show up at someone’s door with exactly what they needed—sometimes unannounced, or shortly after saying he was “on the way,” which usually meant he was already outside.

He cared deeply about his community and served on the Citizens on Patrol (C.O.P.) board in his former neighborhood, as well as on the homeowner’s association board in his current community. Antione took time to speak with and encourage young people, always striving to guide them toward a positive path.

Antione was caring, bold, funny, and full of integrity. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud uncle, loyal friend, brother, and mentor to many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Graham; his mother, Delores Graham; and his sister, Renee’ Graham.

Antione leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Beverly Graham; daughter, Shannon Mackall (Tyrone Mackall); niece, Zakiyya Braxton (Wendell Braxton); great-niece, Ziyonna Braxton; sisters-in-law, Geneva Stafford and Deborah Nesbitt; brothers-in-law, Richard Nesbitt (Annette), Richmond Truesdale (Martha), and Jerry Smalls; uncle, Gerald Dottery (Anna); childhood friend and brother, Dominic Hunter (Janice); family friends Aunt Rosa Williams and Ms. Margaret Hunter- Hance; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Antione loved his family and friends deeply, and we celebrate the life he lived. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
