Antonio Benjamin Averette Sr.,son of Marvin Cunningham and the late Jacqueline Banks was born on October 3, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his step father Walker James Parker. Antonio departed this life on June 19, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Antonio or Tony as he was affectionately known to friends and family attended Baltimore City Public Schools. He graduated from Northwestern Senior High. Tony received Christ at an early age under the leadership of Bishop J.L. Gamble. Tony furthered his education by attending truck driving school. Upon his graduation he earned his CDL's. Tony's passion was driving and his family. Tony worked at Kousouris Bros. Wholesale Produce until he became ill. During one of his deliveries he met a friend. Out of this friendship blossomed a budding relationship. On July 20, 2002, Tony married his friend and love of his life, Dana. Tony was a hard worker. He took pride in his work and his accomplishments. He loved working with his hands and took on a challenge head first. He enjoyed all types of sports especially baseball. He was very fun to be around, outgoing, and loved his family. When asked what his hobby was, Tony would simply smile and say his family. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Antonio was preceded in death by one daughter, Tracia Averette. Tony leaves to cherish his memory, Wife Dana Averette; Sons Antonio Averette Jr., Joseph Wright, and Marcus Kess Jr.; Daughter Nicole Glenn; Father Marvin Cunningham; Grandmother Ruth Trapp; Brothers Willis Parker and Gerald Banks; Sisters Jacqueline Averette, Doreen Banks, and Chantell Banks; one special grand daughter I'yonna Wright; six Aunts, two Uncles, four Great Aunts, two Great Uncles, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.
