April met and fell in love with Bevris Driggs in 1997.

Their union produced two children, Omar and Trinity

Driggs, who were the true loves of her life. She was

always proud and protective over her kids and gave

them the best life that she could.

April received her education within the Baltimore City

public school system. There, she developed a passion for

children and an overall compassion for others.

In addition to her having many younger siblings, April

has displayed kindness to a variety of people who were

not related to her. April cared for people her whole life,

she would be quick to throw on a pair of high platforms.

She never shied away from a sexy shoe or a low-cut

blouse. She could clear a baby's cold like no other. Her

love had no limit. She was a go getter and taught all of

her family how to make a way for themselves with what

they had.

Although April was kind, she was nothing to play with.

April was a great fighter and could "rumble" with the

fight, but April also often fought and advocated for those

who were not as outspoken as her. She would say the

things people needed to hear and trusted that they'd

understand eventually even if they were mad in that

moment. She was a nurturer to all her nieces and

nephews and will forever have their respect.
