Archie Combs Jr., better known as 'Pete' or 'Petey' was born July 7, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on December 7,2017 from a brief illness.

Preceded in death are his parents Archie and Estelle Combs, his wife Gloria, and his brother Herman.

He is survived by his two daughters Ashley and Tonia; grand-daughter, Jayla; god-son, Jermaine Dixon; sister-in-laws, Louise Tibbs and Barbara Earl; one niece, Shelia Massey, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends.

Archie lived in Baltimore all his life, graduating from Carver Vocation- al Technical High School in 1967. Soon afterwards he began a career as a Ironworker with Ironworkers Union Local #16 for the next 16 years. He was very well known and loved by many in his neighborhood and church community.

Earlier in life he enjoyed eating at the nicest restaurants, going to the movies, socializing with family, and his closest friends. His most favorite thing was "shopping". Always dressed to the nines from head to toe, no matter what occasion. He loved to keep you laughing with his sense of humor and jokes. He would light up a room as soon as he arrived and was always the best dressed in the room.

He decided to give his life to Christ, and began attending Jerusalem Baptist Church in 2008, where he was loved by his church family. He enjoyed attending Bible Study, Church Fellowships, and helping out at the local Soup Kitchen.

We the family would like to give a special thanks to Sister Erma for all of words of encouragement, comfort, and support to our dad.
