Obituary

Arlene Cherry DuBose, a native of New Haven Connecticut and
the daughter of Estelle Perry and Theodore Cherry, was born on
May 1, 1946 and departed this life on December 26,2017. Arlene
received her basic education in the New Haven Public School System.

In 1965 Arlene married Jerry F. DuBose. Out of this union three (3)
children were born, Rodney, Lisa and Juanita.

While in Connecticut Arlene was a fashion model for about six (6)
years and worked in various entry level accounting jobs. In the early
1970's Arlene left Connecticut and relocated to Baltimore. Here she
reached her true potential.

Arlene graduated from Baltimore City Community College. While taking
classes she simultaneously taught Introductory Computer classes to
Baltimore school teachers. Ultimately, Arlene began the path toward her
true passion, entrepreneurship. She founded and operated a number of
successful businesses. Arlene literally built and then managed one of the
largest discos in Baltimore City.
Eventually Arlene embarked on the career she was most proud of, real
estate. As a real estate agent Arlene was always a multi-million dollar
producer. Arlene also took great pride in the radio show she co-hosted,
" Real Estate Today " on WBGR- AM Radio.

In 1992 Arlene opened her own real estate firm, Century 21 Home
Specialists. She was the co-owner/manager of this company. Those
who interacted with her will always remember her as an excellent
educator and a compassionate listener/ counselor.

Arlene received innumerable honors throughout her professional careers,
including but not limited to:

1. Numerous Modelling Awards , Trophies and Certificates of Honor Featured in " 100 of the Best Real Estate Agents " Lifetime Member of the Real Estate Million Dollar Association Elected the first " Realist of the Year" (1987) Membership in the Century 21 Million Dollar Club Countless Century 21 Regional and National Awards

Arlene leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter Juanita DuBose, her
daughter Lisa Dunn, her son Rodney DuBose, her grandson Jordan Dunn
her adopted family including Nancy Ware, Augusta Talbott, Harold Hairston-Ridgley, Jr, Kevin Bert and Colbert Bert and a host of other family members
and friends.
