On August 2, 1964 Arlette T. Burrell-Marshall was born in Baltimore, Marylnd. One of six children born to Barbra Ann Burrell and the late Thomas Edward Burerell. her brother Dwayne preceded her in death. On January 24, 2011 Arlette received her angel wings and was callled home to be with the Lord. Arlette or Tammy as she called by those who loved her; was educated at Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School and Sojourner Douglas College where she received her bachelor's degree in Human Services and graduated Cum Laude. Tammy realized that her work wasn't finished, so she went back to school and received her master's degree in business management at the University of Phoenix. Tammy was on a mission to ispire others to conquer the many obstacles that may cause pause in one;s journey. She knew that anyone could iron out wrinkles that are sometimes placed in your life; if you would just persevere. That was not something that she learned in school; that was her story. Relaxing at home, joking and laughing was one of the many things Tammy loved to do, than one day she found God, and Tammy soared to the top. Her love for helping others who were struggling with life and the challenges that it may bring was now on the road to greatness. She opened a commercial cleaning company and was the Executive Director at a rehabilitation center for women called Minute by Minute Inc. with the love of her life, best friend and husband; Anthony Marshall who she married on June 26, 2010. Prior to Tammy receiving her master's degree she began battling the fight of her life which ultimely succumbed. Her final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends that she loved throughout her life. Arlette leaves to cherish her memories; Her devoted husband Anthony Marshall; mother Barbara A. Burrell; mother-in-law Clementine Johnson; children; Ciara S. Dingle, Tyshira L. Dingle, Cornelius D. Dingle Jr., Deja, Anthony and Antwan; thirteen grandchildren; three sisters, Elain, Wanda, and Kimberly; two sisters-in-law, Rence and Vera; one brother Thomas Jr., and three brothers-in-law, Andre, Roscoe and Donald Jr., nephews, nieces, and five special friends, Brenda, Cystal, Aretha, Rodney and Guy as well as a host of other family members and friends.
