After a long and joyful life, on January 3, 2018, Arnold Lennon Sr., gained his wings to be
with his lord and saver at the beautiful age of 88. Arnold Broadway Lennon Sr., was born
December 18, 1929 to his parents Frank and Estelle Lennon in his hometown of Amsterville,
North Carolina. Later, at the age of 21, Arnold Lennon Sr. (also known as Grand Pal would
move to Winston Salem, North Carolina where he would meet and marry his wife, Sadie B.
Parks.

From this union they would have 3 sons and 4 daughters. Arnold Lennon Sr. would work
for R. J. Tobacco Corp. for 25 years as a factory worker. Later during the years Arnold
Lennon Sr. and wife Sadie B. Lennon would relocate and move their family to Baltimore,
MD.

During the years Arnold would lose his vision but that didn't stop him. He often enjoyed
listening to the TV, Radio (Heaven 600) and catching a breeze during a summer day.
Grandpa loved talking to his grands to see how life was treating them. And more times than
not he knew everyone by their voice, but if he got it wrong we all knew the laugh he gave
you. Although grandpa is gone in the physical, he lives on with us in spirit. We will truly miss
you.

Arnold Lennon Sr. leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Sadie B. Lennon, three sons, the
late Harold Lee Parks, Arnold Lennon Jr, and Patrick Lennon. Daughters Shirley M. Hatton
and Maurice Hardy, Jacqueline Bent, Rhonda Sutton, and Sandra Lennon. Thirteen
grandchildren: David Lennon, Eugene Lennon, Tiffany and Mike Smith, Towanda Lennon,
Shirletta and Vernon Hamlin, David Mason, Damian Lonon, Tenia Bent, Donte and Michelle
Evans, Tanika Lennon, Tierra Sutton, Miyana Lennon, and Maya Lennon. And a host of great
grandchildren.
