June 6, 1954 – December 20, 2024
Arthur Gilliam, Jr. entered this world on June 6, 1954. He was the oldest son of Arthur, Sr. who preceded him in death, and Julia H. Gilliam. On December 20, 2024, Arthur was called home for eternal rest.
During his lifetime, Arthur was an ardent student and graduated from John Carroll High School He continued his education later in life at the Community College of Baltimore County, CCBC, where he was able to become licensed as a Top Certified Stationary Engineer. With his qualifications as a Stationary Engineer, Arthur obtained employment with the University of Maryland Chesapeake Hospital and from which he retired.
A special part of Arthur was family life.. He met and married Annie M. Hill, to whom he had been married for 49 years. Through this union, three beautiful daughters were born, Keysha, Monique, and Artrina. Arthur and Annie enjoyed life and each other. It was a young love that matured and withstood the ups and downs of life through the years.
Brother Arthur was a seven-degree Mason in the Eureka Lodge No. 1 under the auspices of the Most Worshipful Hiram Grand Lodge located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Arthur leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Annie M,; mother, Julia H.; and daughters, Keysha, Monique (Juma), and Trina; six grandchildren, Telisha, Keaira, Brandon, Juma, Ave, and Dominic; Arthur has one great-granddaughter, Ariel; He is also survived by one sister, Wendetta; Arthur's other two siblings Herbert and Yvette preceded him in death. Through marriage there is one sister-in-law, Myra Wyrm and three brothers-in law: Walter Hill, Floyd Garrison, and Kevin Wynn. Arthur also leaves to mourn his passing many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
