Arthur Grant , son of the late Mr. May Green and Minda Grant was born January 1, 1929 in Beaufort, South Carolina . He departed this life on October 20, 2015 after a lengthy illness.

Arthur became a Christian at an early age. He always loved to preach and teach the Holy word to everybody and anybody he came in contact with . Later he was ordained as a deacon by Dr. Ralph R. Long at World Kingdom Fresh Fire Ministries .

He received his education at Beaufort Public School System. Later in life he came to Baltimore and continued his education at Dunbar High School .

He gained employment at Arundel Corp for 47 years of work, until he retired .

Arthur (daddy) (granddaddy) as we all called him was a very courageous, dominant and prestige leader of his family. Arthur enjoyed singing, decorating, cleaning, buying cars, shopping at the flea market known as (his place of business), traveling every summer (down south) as he would say , it would be a place he wanted to call home. Most important he has an abundant of love for his family . .

Arthur had great social skills and encouraged people just with his presence alone. Listening to daddy's conversations would truly move you about Christ our Savior, when he was done you felt like you had been baptized by the word, saved, sanctified and filled with the holy ghost.
