Arthur Sims, the son of the late Albert and Georgiana Sims, was born in Cross Keys, South Carolina on March 15, 1914. He quietly went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2006. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1946. After coming to Baltimore he joined the Gillis Memorial Church. In 1951 he was united in Holy Matrimony with the late Hattie Brice Sims and became the stepfather to Ervin and Thomas Brice. They were later blessed with two more sons Michael and Neal Neal preceded him death. Arthur who was fondly called ''Bus'' made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and a devoted family man. He leaves to cherish his memory; four sons Robert Lee from a previous marriage, Ervin, Thomas and Michael; three daughters-in-law, Shirley, Gwendolyn and Roberta; one brother, Will; one sister-in-law, Ruth; ten grandchildren one grandchild preceded him in death and twelve great-grandchilden, a number of nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
