Arthur Benjamin Snowden was born March 29, 1953 in Ferndale, MD. He departed this life on December 3, 2017 after fighting a lengthy illness.

Arthur was educated in the Baltimore City Public School. Arthur was employed at Import Sterilization Inc. until 2007. He was affectionately known as Uncle Mickey or Splur. He enjoyed playing basketball, shooting pool and watching westerns.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Snowden and Inez Miles and sister, Evelyn Snowden. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory three sons, Arthur, Bryant and Tobias Snowden. Two sisters, Phyllis "Sister" Snowden-Matthews and Carolyn Snowden-Veniey. Two brothers, Melvin "Pete" Snowden and Lionel Snowden. One sister-in-law, Doreen K. Snowden. Two brothers-in-law, Calvin W. Matthews, Jr. and Kevin Veniey. One daughter-in-law, Four grandchildren, Arnie, Nien, Teshyra, Tobias Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
