ARTHUR LEE YOUNG, son of the late George and Geneva Young and twin brother of the late Artis Louis Young, was born on March 29, 1945 and departed this life on August 5, 2014. At an early age, Arthur joined the Trinity Baptist Church where he was baptized and served as an active part of the Sunday School, Youth Choir, Boy Scouts and other organizations within the church for many years. Arthur attended and graduated from Baltimore City College and later attended Morgan State College. In 1967, Arthur joined the U.S. Army where he served as a supply clerk. Arthur married Sarah P. Gill in 1968 (the marriage ended in the passing of Sarah in 1984). Arthur, who was very talented, worked many occupations over the years as a self-employed handyman in Johns Hopkins computer labs and housekeeping at GBMC until his recent illness. In later years Arthur met and cherished his best friend Glenda until his passing. He leaves to celebrate his life; his brother, Calvin; sister, Geneva (John), fiancee and best friend, Glenda; six children, Cynthia, Adrian, Alana, Sandra, Angela and Tercorlen (Nasheia), grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
