Ashley Yolanda Howard was born July 25, 1990 to Marvin Straighten and the late Toya I. Howard. She departed this life March 29, 2021.

She attended the Baltimore City Public School system where she received her high school diploma. This made her so proud.

She attended Shiloh Christian Community Church, where she was once a member of the Usher board and the Choir.

There is where she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.

Ashley enjoyed shopping, hanging out with family, and spending time with her son. For her it was a must to keep her hair, and nails done, but most importantly she lovedddddd the telephone.

Ashely was a great mother. She loved her son unconditionally. He was her world and the highlight of her life.

Ashley will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her son.

Ashley was preceded in death, by her son, Martrell T. Whitfield; mother, Toya l. Howard; cousin/brother Tyrin I. Diggs; and grandfather William A. Howard.

She leaves to cherish her memories son, Marquise Whitfield; aunts; Tier, Tyrice, Tyra, and Yolanda; uncles, Tyrone, Aaron, Josh, and Antoine; great uncles, Benjamin, Donald, Theodore, Michael, Eric, and Derek, great aunt, Darlene; grandmother, Charlotte; great grandmother, Shirley; cousins; who were more like brothers Dennis, Michael, and Tyrell; a special cousin Shelly; and a host of other cousins and friends who loved her.
