God in His infinite wisdom, knew the needs of these children, and Mama Mable allowed Him to use her to fill the void that Lenora's death had created. Mable was truly an instrument of God who combined Aubrey, his siblings and their first cousin Tony with her daughter Aileen and her niece Lavinia to form a close-knit family bound togather by love, campassion and understanding. Growing up in the Park Heights area of Baltimore City, Aubrey received his formal education in the Baltimore City Public School System. After honorably serving his nation, Aubrey was discharged and returned home to Baltimore. Aubrey became a Merchant Seaman. As a Merchant Seaman, he traveled to every continet, but he always returned home to Mama Mable and his family. Aubrey was always the "Baby" of the family and everyone in the ffamily spoiled him. After Mama Mable's death, his older sister Greta stepped in a a maternal figure, and contined to care for her little brother. Aubrey had a unique relationship with his nieces and nephews. Although he was most popular with the young due to his sense of humor, he was greatly respected by them for his dapper appearance, honesty and wisdom.
