Aubrey Jones, son of the late Bennie and Nellie Jones, was born on June 14, 1933 in Ashland, Virginia. He was educated in Hanover County School System. Aubrey married Delores E. Davis and out of this union three children were born, James, Thomas and Neil. Thereafter, the family moved to Baltimore. Maryland. Aubrey was employed by the CVE Construction company of Baltimore. He was a dependable truck driver until he retired. Aubrey joined Flat Rock Baptist church under the Pastorship of Reverend Mary Mills. He served as a faithful usher until his illness kept him from his ministry. Aubrey was fondly known as Pee Wee or Mickey. He enjoyed being around family and friends just talking and laughing. Mickey was always very helpful. Aubrey leaves to cherish his memory; a devoted wife, Delores; three children, James, Thomas and Neil; seven grandchildren, Aisha, LaKisha, Naeesah, Niema, Janelle, Salideen, and Nailah; seven great-grandchildren, Arhtur Jr., Yazzmeen, Jamal, Austin, Autumn, Zaimani and Ahsha; one daughter-in-law, Sylvia; one son-in-law, Voris; five sisters; one brother;sisters-in-law; brother-in-law; nieces; nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
