To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die. On the evening of February 15, 2008 a tiny angle visited us from heaven, we held her in our arms and named her Shyann Denise Nelson. She was a beautiful little girl who only stayed with us here on this earth for a very short time. During her brief life Shyann touched the lives of many people with a funny little smile which warmed your heart; it was like watching the face of an angel. This baby came into our lives very suddenly. She immediately filled our hearts with joy, love and unity. On the morning of April 9, 2008 this little angel heard the voice of our hevenly father who called her back home to heaven. As soft as the gentle breeze of a butterfly's wing, Shyann departed from this earth back to her home in heaven. Her mission with us was done afterall, she only came here to check and see if we all truly had the love and kindness that we said we did. She left us early because we proved to her and to each other that we truley have real love. So, like a beautiful dream, we have awakened and the angle is gone. Shyann leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Shyann L. Nelson; her father, Carl Harris; two siblings, Amanda Spaton and Terry Williams; especially a devoted caregiver and aunt, Pathena Robinson; loving godparents, Christina Watson and Shawn Chandler; especially devoted cousins, Cherita Nelson, Kendra, Deshawn, Kenneth, Ramiah, Jessica, Larry and Lamont; Chenelle Johnson, Rikita Brooks and Theresa Johnson; grandmother Leola Nelson; a very devoted great aunt, Mrs. Pricilla Brooks; great-aunt, Sherry Watson; one uncle, Antwan Nelson; great uncles, Richard Brooks, David, Emmanuel, Rickey and Perry Nelson; a special great cousin who shared the same birthday and will miss her dearly, Muffin; and a host of other loving relatives and friends to numerous to name at this time.
